Tivo Will Release A New DVR
One of the biggest names in DVRs is putting out a new DVR. Tivo is releasing the Bolt OTA. It’s specifically made for OTA Antennas, delivers four tuners, and has a one terabyte hard drive. The box is 4K capable. The new Bolt will also provide access to popular OTT services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu.
The new DVR retails for $250. TiVo is cutting its monthly DVR service charge for the Bolt OTA from $14.99 a month to $6.99 a month. There as also a $ 250-lifetime service fee option. This release is on the pricey side, so I recommend checking out our guide on OTA DVRs for other options. We plan to have an updated review of the new Bolt soon.
