Cut the Cord Savings Calculator

With all the content accessible online, replacing your cable subscription with an all streaming solution (also known as “cutting the cord”) has never been easier. To see your potential yearly savings from cutting the cord, simply fill out the form below.

There are 3 sections to the form:

Section 1: Enter your current monthly payment for Internet, Cable and Phone.

Section 2: Input the cost of an internet only service from your ISP. Next, simply check the streaming services you will be adding. If you are already paying for one of these services, leave the box unchecked as there will be no added cost. There is even an area for phone replacement if you are not comfortable with only using your cell phone.

Section 3: This simply shows your annual savings (or loss) from cutting the cord.

If you enjoyed the calculator please share it at the bottom of the page. I will be updating the “Cut the Cord Calculator” as options change so please leave any improvement suggestions in a tweet or a Facebook post on Grounded Reasons social media pages.

For information on the options presented in the form or a strategy on cutting the cable cord, please check out our guide on How to Watch TV Without Cable.
