How To Watch The Golden Globes Online

The 76th Golden Globes will air live this Sunday, January 6th 2019. If you are like me and don’t have cable then you can still watch this year’s Golden Globes live. The awards ceremony airs on NBC so there are numerous ways to watch.

Watch The Golden Globes Without Cable

If you are stumbling upon this article an hour before the ceremony starts and still have hot dip cooking on the stove, don’t worry. You can easily stream the Golden Globes live and free on NBC using one of a few options.

Quite a few streaming services stream live local TV networks, but it’s usually based on the TV market you live within. Hulu has the most availability and provides this handy tool to see which channels are available in your area: Hulu Live TV Channels by Zipcode. Hulu also provides access to “E!” live so you can watch the red carpet coverage starting at 4pm EST.

If NBC is on the list then sign up for the 1-week free trial and you are watching the Golden Globes online for free. You can watch Hulu on your TV with a Roku, Amazon Fire TV device, Apple TV, Chromecast and more. Cancel when you are done and you won’t be charged. However, if you are curious about all Hulu Live TV has to offer then check out our Hulu Live TV Review.

If Hulu doesn’t work for you then you also have options watching the Golden Globes Live using options like FuboTV, Sling TV, YouTube TV, PlayStation Vue, and DirecTV Now. I’ve covered the availability of live NBC on all these services in our guide: How To Watch NBC Online.

Remember, The Golden Globes air on NBC, so if you have more than an hour you can always watch by setting up a TV Antenna. In fact, all your local network channels are available to you without cable, not just NBC. For more on that check out our guide to watching your local TV networks online.
