  • Dennis & Joel,
    Thanks again for the podcast.

    1. Even if Joel's grandmother kicked him, he shouldn't be kicking grandmothers!

    2. Let's give props to Google for not putting "stick", "now", etc into their service name.

    3. Any insight into the Tivo Mavrik?

    4. This episode is the second time that my podcast player stopped playing your podcast at one hour. I had to save - delete - restart the podcast to get past the hour time hack. Just kind of interesting.

    5. Yes I subscribe. --- "Yes, subscribing in iTunes to your podcast makes it so easy to having it waiting in my queue every week!" Just trying to help.

    6. I don't had a podcast of my own, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night, but.... You could print out a list of your episodes to keep handy while you are taping a podcast. Sometimes, you mention something that it interesting and mention it's in an old podcast. In all fairness, it has to sound REALLY interesting to go searching through all the old podcasts and hope that I can guess which one you were referring to..... but if you mentioned the podcast number or date.....oh, then it's really easy to just scroll through the list and start listening. ... an idea.

    7. Go Gonzaga!!

    • Dennis,
It was Episode 32, but I was off on the time. It was with 20 min remaining that it hiccuped. I use the default Apple Podcast player.
It may just be my temporary network location.

      • Hopefully if anyone had a similar issue they will mention it. Thanks for the tips!

    • Hey "The" Christopher,

After last episode we are getting Joel enrolled in GKA (Grandma Kickers Anonymous). As for the Mavrik, I've been waiting on this one for a while. The FCC just released the user manual this week, so I'll likely bring it up next episode.

You are totally right about needing an episode list handy. Funny thing is, I usually have the page up. I just often forget to look at it. I need to remember to do this. Thanks for making a point of it.

As for the 1 hour glitch, do you remember which episode the other one that glitched was? Also, which client are you using?

      Thanks for subscribing!
