With the holidays quickly approaching, many readers have asked how they can watch the Hallmark channel online without a cable TV or satellite subscription. Many have asked about the Hallmark Channel Everywhere app. Unfortunately, you will need a pay-TV provider login to use it. Today I’m going to show you how to watch hallmark channel online without cable.
Watch Hallmark Channel Online Live
There are few services that will let you watch Hallmark Channel online. You will have access to the channel live, just as if you had cable. Information on those services and how to sign up for each is listed below.
Hallmark Channel on FuboTV
FuboTV is a streaming service that provides access to quite a few pay-TV channels. You can watch the channels live as they would air on cable TV and you can record programs on their cloud DVR. They provide both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as part of their base package.
All this is included with the base package. You can test out the service with this 1-week free trial. After the trial, it’s $19.99 for the first two months and $39.99 after that. There is no commitment so you can cancel at any time. The service supports Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more. Check out my full review of FuboTV for more information.
Hallmark Channel on DirecTV Now
As shown in our review of DirecTV Now, you get access to both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as part of the DirecTV “Live a Little” package for $35 per month. You can test the service out using this 1-week free trial.
The service also offers a slew of other pay-TV networks with live online streaming, including live broadcast networks in many areas of the country. The service offers on demand and a cloud DVR is due out in 2018. The service supports Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, and Apple TV.
Hallmark Channel on Sling TV
You can also watch Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries with Sling TV. However, it’s not part of either the Sling TV Blue or Sling TV Orange base packages. (See our Sling TV review for details.) Instead, both channels are part of their “Lifestyles Extra” add-on package for an additional $5 per month. Sling TV starts at $20 per month, so you can start enjoying the Hallmark Channel online along with many other channels for $25 per month.
Sling TV supports all the major streaming devices and also offers a 1-week free trial. There is no contract so you can cancel anytime.
Hallmark On Vue
PlayStation Vue also offers a number of TV channels without needing a cable provider. Vue’s entry package costs $39.99 per month and delivers over 50 channels over the internet. However, to receive Hallmark Channel you will need to upgrade to their core package, which costs $44.99 per month.
While you may assume that Vue is only available on PlayStation, that isn’t the case. Vue is also available on Amazon Fire TV and other streaming devices. See our review of PlayStation Vue for more details on what channels are available and device support.
Hallmark Movies Online
What if you enjoy Hallmark movies, but don’t want to have to pay for a streaming service to have access to Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. There are a couple options out there for you.
Hallmark Movies Now
Hallmark Movies Now is a streaming service that shows all your favorite Hallmark Movies on demand. The service was formally called “Feeln”. Now, it’s been completely rebranded as a Hallmark movie streaming service.
You can sign up for Hallmark Movies Now on their website for $5.99 per month with no commitment. However, you can save a little money by signing up for 1 year for $49.99. Hallmark Movies Now is supported on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, various Android TV devices, Samsung and Sony smart TVs and Blu-Ray players, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and Chromecast.
Buy Hallmark Movies Online Individually
If there are certain Hallmark Movies you like, then there’s no reason to subscribe to a streaming service. Simply buy the movies directly from Amazon, Google Play or iTunes. This way you can own the movies digitally and watch them whenever and wherever you like.
