How The Olympic Softball Tournament Works

The Olympic Softball Tournament will consist of 6 teams: Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico, and The United States. The softball tournament will feature a single round-robin of the six teams where each team will play one game against each other. Therefore each team will play 5 games, with the entire round-robin consisting of 15 games. After the round-robin, the third and fourth place teams will play for the bronze medal while the top two teams play for gold and silver. 17 Softball games will be played in total.
