
Fans of the Horton, Brady, Kiriakis, Hernandez and DiMera families in Salem, Illinois, are going to have to switch their viewing patterns this week, as the 57-year-old daytime soap Days of our Lives makes the dramatic move to streaming only on Monday, September 12. After nearly six decades on NBC, the show will stop airing on broadcast this week, and fans of the likes of Bo and Hope Brady will have to find it on Peacock TV, the network’s streaming service.
Days of Our Lives, which is one of the longest running daytime soaps, has long chronicled the lives, loves, tragedies, and triumphs of the citizens of the fictional town of Salem to a delighted and devoted audience. Previous to September 12, new episodes of Days of our Lives were available on Peacock TV after airing on the daytime serial slot on NBC. Now, it will be available only on Peacock TV, although still releasing new episodes almost every weekday.
