What is Fubo
Fubo is a streaming service that offers live TV channels over the internet, making it a decent alternative to cable TV. While Fubo initially catered to sports fans, they have expanded their channel roster to include major networks like ESPN, USA, and much more. Fubo also offers live local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC broadcasts in many parts of the country.
The service supports most major streaming devices and even includes a cloud DVR with the base package at no additional cost. Their live streaming platform is one of the only live streaming services to offer some live events in 4K resolution. They also have an extremely short live delay of about 15 seconds, the shortest delay of any live streaming service.

Fubo Channels and Plans
When signing up for fubo, you can pick from four plans, “Pro,” “Elite,” “Premier,” or “Latino” We go into more detail on the channels available in each plan, but the list below summarizes each plan. Also, note that fubo carries several regional sports networks. However, there is a mandatory monthly regional sports fee in these areas. The fee is an additional $10.99-$13.99 per month, depending on the number of regional sports networks (RSNs) in your area. We list the various networks and areas affected by these fees in the next section.

Regional Sports Networks
With the Bally Sports RSNs joining Fubo TV in 2023, the streaming service offers nearly every NBA, MLB, and NHL Regional Sports Network in the USA. Please keep in mind that Fubo does charge an extra fee per month if you live in an area that has a regional sports channel. Areas with 1 regional sports network are charged $10.99 per month, while regions with 2 or more regional sports networks are charged $13.99 per month. Fubo Cloud DVR
As I stated earlier, Fubo includes a cloud-based DVR in the base package. Everything is handled on their end, so that means no extra equipment or devices are needed. Here are some of the features of their cloud DVR:
- You can record most live programs either before or during the time they air. If you choose to record the program while it airs, the recording will cover the beginning of the program.
- You can watch shows recorded on the DVR via Fubo’s website, iPhone and iPad apps, Android smartphone and tablet apps, Roku, and their Amazon Fire TV app.
- The DVR feature is included in the following plans:
- Latino/Español – 250 hours of storage
- Pro – 1000 hours of storage
- Elite – 1000 hours of storage
- Premier – 1000 hours of storage
- If you chose a plan that doesn’t include the storage you need, you can expand your personal DVR capacity to 250 hours by subscribing to Fubo Cloud DVR Plus for an additional $9.99 per month. For an additional $16.99 per month you can expand your cloud DVR storage to $1000 per month.
