Five of the streaming services that carry Golf Channel offer a free trial. You can take advantage of those and watch free Golf Channel for almost a month or longer if you use different email addresses. Let’s look at the free trials available.

Golf Channel Through The NBC Sports App
While you can watch Golf Channel through the streaming service apps covered in this article, you can also watch through the NBC Sports App. (Golf Channel is owned by NBC) The instructions below work for watching Golf Channel on Roku, but other streaming devices will require similar steps
- Go the channel store or app store on your device. On Roku, it’s called the “Channel Store”
- Search for the NBC Sports app
- Add the NBC Sports app to your device and then open it.
- Go to “Browse” on the menu to the left of the screen. Under “All Networks” navigate to “Golf Channel” and press the OK button on your remote.
- Golf Channel gives you a free 10-minute preview after which, your Roku device will show you an activation code.
- Using a computer or mobile web browser, you go to the https://www.nbcsports.com/activate.
- You will then be asked for a TV provider and a username/password. If you subscribe to Hulu, select “Hulu”, then enter your login and password for Hulu.
- Once you sign-in, your TV screen will refresh after a minute or so. You should now have access to all the live and on-demand content Golf Channel provides.
