With the 2021 NHL season underway, hockey fans without cable will want a way to watch NHL Network without cable. Currently, you can stream NHL Network live through Sling TV, FuboTV, and AT&T Now. The NHL Network has already announced the schedule of 50 nationally televised games this season with more to come.
Streaming NHL Network
Streaming NHL Network is easy using the streaming services below. All you need is an Internet connection. You can even watch NHL on your TV with a streaming device like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and more.
Service | Package | Monthly Price | Offer |
---|---|---|---|
Sling TV | ‘Blue’ + Sports Add-on | $40.00 | 3-day free trial |
fuboTV | ‘Family’ + ‘fuboTV Extra’ | $72.98 | 7-day free trial |

Sling TV is The Cheapest Way To Watch NHL Network
Sling TV offers NHL Network in its Sport’s Extra Plan. To get the sports extra plan, you need to subscribe to either the Sling Orange Plan or the Sling Blue plan for $30 per month, then add the Sports Extra package for another $10 per month. This would provide a way to watch the NHL Network at $40 per month. You can try the service free for 3 days using this free trial.
I find the Sling Blue package is a better value as you get more channels, the ability to stream to 3 devices at once, and local Fox and NBC networks in certain markets. You can get both packages for only $45 per month, but then the cost of the Sports Extra package jumps to $15 per month, bringing the total to $60 per month to watch the NHL Network. Regardless of the plan you chose, Sling TV comes with the following features:
- 10 hours of cloud DVR storage
- the ability to watch shows networks make available on-demand
- Support on Android and iOS devices, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Nexus player, Xbox One, Apple TV, Chromecast, and more
