Bally Sports Ongoing Bankruptcy
Diamond Sports Group, the Owner of Bally Sports, is in the middle of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The current expectation is for Bally Sports to continue to air games until further notice. Luckily neither Fubo or DIRECTV STREAM require a long-term contract, so if the situation changes, you aren’t stuck with a streaming service no longer providing the games you want on Bally Sports. Both services have also pursued deals to keep teams on their service once they leave Bally Sports.
So far the following teams have parted ways from various Bally Sports Networks: Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, and San Diego Padres.
