
With Vidgo recently updating its channel plans and shifting to a more sports-focused offering, I wanted to update our review of this affordable Live TV streaming option.
What is Vidgo
Vidgo is a Live TV streaming service that officially launched toward the end of last year. While initially focused on providing network and cable TV channels to Spanish speakers, Vidgo now offers English-speaking plans that carry popular channels like ESPN, HGTV, MTV, Hallmark Channel, and more.
How Much is Vidgo?
Vidgo offers three different channel packages Plus, Premium, and Spanish. All plans can be viewed on three devices simultaneously and support iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Web browsers, and Chromecast. There are no contracts with Vidgo. You pay month to month and can cancel at any time. Each Vidgo channel plan offers a 7-day free trial.
Below are the prices and a brief description of each plan. We dive into the channels available on each a little later in the article.
Vidgo Plus Lineup: This English Speaking live TV package costs $55 per month for over 85 channels found on cable and network TV. Currently, new customers can sign up for the Plus Plan and enjoy a 1-week free trial.
Vidgo Premium Lineup: This English Speaking live TV package costs $79.95 per month for over 110 channels found on cable and network TV. Currently, new customers can sign up for the Premium Plan and enjoy a 1-week free trial.
Spanish Lineup: This channel package typically costs $30 per month and offers Spanish-speaking channels like ESPN Deportes, Fox Deportes, beIN Sports en Espanol, History, Discovery, and more.

The Latest Features
With Vidgo being a relatively new service, we will update the latest updates and additions in this section. Currently, Vidgo offers the following features.
- Timeshift enables customers to rewind, pause, or skip back to the beginning of live sporting events or tv shows if they join late or get interrupted.
- Playback allows Vidgo customers can watch shows from the past 24 hours without the need for a DVR
- On-Demand: Vidgo Subscribers to access hundreds of hours of additional content, movies, and recorded shows from ESPN, Disney, ABC, Fox, Fox News, NFL Network, Discovery, Viacom, beIN Sports, and Hallmark apps. See our guide to using TV Everywhere apps for more information.
- Vidgo now supports streaming live content on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari web browsers.
- The Vidgo app now allows users to cast content from their mobile device using Airplay or Chromecast.
- Simultaneous Streams: Stream on up to three devices on one account at the same time

Vidgo Social TV
Social TV is Vidgo’s chat platform. The intent is for like-minded sports fans, friends, and family can watch TV together, even when they are apart. This feature is great for watching sports with friends online or getting a group together for a movie night without anyone leaving the house. The promo video below gives you an idea about what the Social TV feature is all about.
Vidgo DVR
Vidgo doesn’t have a cloud DVR but instead offers 24-hour playback from many channels. So for most channels, you will have a day to watch anything you missed. Vidgo also offers VOD (Video On Demand) library of free content from channels in their lineup, allowing you to watch your favorite shows whenever you want. In addition, Vidgo offers a search feature that searches live, 24-hour playback, or on-demand.
Pros and Cons to Vidgo

Pros:
- One of the more affordable live streaming services to offer Disney Owned channels like ESPN, Disney Channel, etc. along with other top networks.
- Social TV feature is a lot of fun and can be very useful to engage with friends in a time where we are staying in the house more.
- Videos 3 device limit applies to home and mobile devices. Therefore your spouse could be watching something at home while you are streaming something on the go.
- Currently, Vidgo is one of the most affordable ways to watch NFL Network.
Cons:
- Doesn’t have a cloud DVR (instead offers 24 hour playback)
- Vidgo doesn’t include CBS and NBC.
