A Million Miles Away is a new film that tells the true story of NASA flight engineer José Hernández (Michael Peña). Hernández dreamed his whole life of becoming an astronaut with NASA. Over a decades-long journey from a rural village in Michoacán, Mexico, through a childhood as a migrant farm worker, he worked and studied to become a flight engineer at NASA and, eventually, to go into space to the International Space Station.
