The new dark comedy Bad Sisters premieres on Friday, August 19, on Apple TV+. Set in Dublin and London, the series is a mix of comedy and thriller in which the Garvey sisters are bound together by a family promise to protect one another after the premature death of their parents. When one of their own is threatened by an abusive partner, the siblings come together to take matters into their own hands. Will they succeed–and get away with it?
The series is co-created and written by Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe, This Way Up), who also plays one of the sisters along with Anne-Marie Duff (Suffragette), Eva Birthistle (Brooklyn), Sarah Greene (Dublin Murders), and Eve Hewson (Behind her Eyes), with Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, and Daryl McCormack.
