Yes, you read that right. If you weren’t already aware of it, there is a modern remake of the early 1990s classic series Doogie Howser, M.D. The remake, Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., moves the setting to Hawaii and is led by a young female medical prodigy, Dr. Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha (Peyton Elizabeth Lee). Wacky antics ensue as she juggles a busy hospital schedule and, you know, being 16. Despite the pressures of hospital life (including her mom being her boss), she is kept grounded by her wisecracking best friend Steph and her brothers, the free-spirited older Kai, and idiosyncratic Brian Patrick. Read on for more on how to watch the show as it returns for season 2.
