About Harriet the Spy
The first animated adaptation of the beloved children’s novel Harriet the Spy, the series chronicles the coming-of-age adventures of Harriet M. Welsch (Beanie Feldstein). The curious and independent 11-year-old is set on becoming a writer, a job for which one needs to know everything. Enter becoming a spy! Set in the 1960s, when the book was written, Harriet embarks on her adventures under the no-nonsense supervision of her nanny (Jane Lynch). The voice cast includes Lacey Chabert, Kimberly Brooks, Crispin Freeman, Grey Griffin, Bumper Robinson, and Charlie Schlatter. Produced by The Jim Henson Company, the first five episodes of the series will debut on Friday, November 19, with the second half of the first season returning in spring 2022.
