The film explores the relationship between Dracula (Brian Hull) and his awkward, human son-in-law Johnny (Andy Samberg), as Dracula debates retiring and turning the hotel over to his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez). Things are about to get wacky when the humans try to become monsters–only to find that when they do, the real monsters become human. In his less immortal and less glamorous state, Dracula and the rest of the gang must travel deep into a mysterious jungle to reverse the effects.
