How The UEFA Euro 2020 Works

The tournament consists of 24 European Teams in 6 groups. In the group stage, each team plays the other 3 teams in their group once. After that, the top 2 teams in each group and the four highest-ranking third-placed teams advance to the round of 16. The Euro 2020 then continues as the 16 teams play a knock-out style bracket tournament until a champion is crowned.
