The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, a new miniseries starring Samuel L. Jackson, premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, March 11. The miniseries, based on Walter Mosley’s novel of the same name, takes him through an emotional roller coaster of dementia, restoration, and decline, as well as moving through time in younger versions of himself. As a man with a brief glimpse into his cloudy past, he’s determined to set things right before it is all lost again permanently. The cast also includes Dominique Fishback, Walton Goggins, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Damon Gupton, Cynthia McWilliams, Omar Benson Miller, Maury Ginsberg, and JoAnn Willette.
