The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is a seven-part miniseries based on the book by Holly Ringland. It follows the story of a young girl, Alice Hart (played by Alycia Debnam-Carey and by Alyla Browne as a young girl), from childhood and years later as a young adult. After she tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire at age 9, she goes to live with her grandmother June (Sigourney Weaver) on a flower farm. Growing up there she learns there are many layers of secrets in her family’s past. This family drama spans decades, set against the breath-taking natural landscape of Australia and using native wildflowers and plants to express much of the emtion behing the storytelling.
