How You Can Watch Ted Lasso

Published 2023-03-22 By Dennis Restauro

A view from the stands of the team going out onto the field for the final game

Episode 3 of season 3 of Ted Lasso, titled "4-5-1", airs Wednesday, March 29 on Apple TV+. All seasons of Ted Lasso are available on the Apple TV+ streaming service (which has a 1-week-free-trial). If you aren’t familiar with the show, Ted Lasso stars Jason Sudeikis (formerly of Saturday Night Live) as a small-time American college football coach recruited to head up a premier soccer team in the UK, and naturally, antics ensue. The show’s success is largely driven by Lasso’s deep heart and almost continual cheerfulness, as well as the fact that even the most superficial-seeming characters end up being well-rounded thanks to an ace writing team. Ted Lasso was developed into the series by Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, Cougar Town), Sudeikis, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt.

Ted Lasso is the darling of the Apple TV+ lineup and grabbed eight Emmys over the last two years, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Jason Sudeikis and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy both seasons, and an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Brett Goldstein.

Read on to learn how to watch Ted Lasso and find out why everyone loves this endearing fish-out-of-water-comedy.
