Hulu still offers a free trial period to new customers when signing up for their Hulu Streaming Library. Those plans start at $7.99 per month for the ad-supported plan and $17.99 per month for the ad-free plan after the free trial. However, as of December 21, 2021, Hulu no longer offers a free trial with their live TV plans, although those plans now include full access to Disney+ and ESPN+ starting at $76.99 per month. It doesn’t include live TV but provides access to a massive catalog of on-demand TV shows, Hulu Originals, and movies. After the free trial, this service tier’s price ranges from $7.99 with commercials to $17.99 without commercials. You can read more in our review of Hulu.
Avoid Being Charged after The Free-Trial
When you sign up for a free trial, your account will be assigned a “billing date.” That is the date your Hulu subscription will renew, and you will be charged for your first month of service. You can find this date by logging into your Hulu account. Go to your account page, and your renewal date is under a section that reads “Upcoming Charges.” If you do not want to be charged, be sure to cancel at 11:59 Eastern Standard Time the day before this date. If you are unsure how to cancel, please see our instructions to cancel your Hulu subscription.
There is no contract with any Hulu plan. Plans are renewed month to month, and you can cancel any time you like.
