It’s finally here. It’s the very first episode of the Grounded Reason Podcast. The show’s official launch will be Monday, when I will add episodes 2 and 3. However, I wanted to give the subscribers a little head start with an early episode 1. After that I will add a new episode every Monday. If you enjoy the show please support us with a good review on iTunes.
To leave a review, listen, and/or subscribe in iTunes do the following:
- Click this link. It will take you to the “Grounded Reason Podcast” Listing Page.
- Please click “Subscribe”
- Click on “Reviews” or “Ratings and Reviews” (It varies by device)
- It will ask you to Log into iTunes store if you already aren’t. If you aren’t on an iPhone or iPad you may have to click “Write a Review”
- From there, you can click on the stars to rate the podcast, and choose a title. The title is required for the review to be logged.
Show Notes
In this episode Joel and I discuss my reasons for ditching cable TV and what it’s like to “cut the cord.” Cord cutting has been the major focus of Grounded Reason thus far, so it only makes sense that it’s the topic of our first podcast. This episode also touches upon my bug phobia and how much time people don’t realize they lose watching commercials.
For information on using the solutions discussed in this episode, check out How to Watch TV without Cable.
For those that want a look at the bug I mentioned in the podcast, check this out. This is the same species of bug, but not the exact one. My wife didn’t have the photo of our guest on her phone.
