NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) has the TV rights for several live sports, including NASCAR, The Olympics, and will air over 80 nationally televised NHL games in the 2021 season. You don’t need cable to watch NBCSN. The channel is available on the following streaming services: Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, AT&T TV, TVision, and Hulu Live TV. Read on to find which service will work best for you.
Streaming Services with NBCSN
Below you will find the live TV streaming services that have NBCSN in their channel lineup. With them, you can watch on the web, on mobile, and even on your TV. All you need is a streaming device like a Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or Smart TV.
Each offers a free trial with no contract so that you can try out the service, and if it doesn’t meet your expectations, you can cancel without penalty.
Watching NBCSN on Hulu
Hulu Live TV offers NBCSN along with many other channels. Hulu is most known for its vast on-demand streaming library. However, you can also subscribe to Hulu’s Live TV service for $64.99 a month. That price includes Hulu on-demand, making it one of the best live TV streaming services available. The services includes the following features:

NBCSN on Sling TV
For the first month, you can subscribe to Sling TV’s Blue package for $30/month, which gives you NBCSN and over 40 other channels.
Sling TV provides a live stream of NBCSN, so you can watch what would be airing on it just as if you had cable. Sling TV also provides a cloud DVR for recording live shows for later viewing.
Sling TV is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and more, so it’s not a problem to enjoy NBCSN on a TV, tablet, computer, or other smart devices. NBCSN on AT&T TV
NBCSN is one of the channels available on AT&T’s streaming service AT&T TV. For a price of $69.99 you will get the following:
- watch 3 streams simultaneously per subscription
- a cloud-based DVR
- channels like NBCSN, AMC, HGTV, Discovery, and more
- supported on AppleTV, Android TV, Roku, Amazon FireTV, and more

NBCSN on FuboTV
FuboTV is an excellent place to go for sports, including NBCSN. It also offers many other more general channels as well. FuboTV’s Family package offers over 90 channels for $64.99/month (after a 7-day free trial). The FuboTV app is available on major platforms, including AppleTV, AndroidTV, Roku, and Amazon FireTV. FuboTV’s standard plan includes the following:
- over 100 live channels found on cable
- live local NBC, FOX, and CBS in many markets
- a cloud DVR with 30 hours of storage
- watch on two screens at the same time

YouTube TV on NBCSN
YouTubeTV also offers NBCSN streaming live online and limitless storage space for recording your shows. Your library of recorded shows can be streamed anywhere. NBCSN is included in the base package for $64.99 a month.

TVision is a new live TV streaming service from T-Mobile. The service is currently only available to T-Mobile customers. TVision’s “Live TV” plan offers NBCSN along with 30 other channels for just $40 per month. Below are features included with this plan:

- includes 100 hours of cloud DVR
- stream to 3 devices at a time

Watch NBCSN for Free
Four of the streaming services that carry NBCSN offer a free trial. You can take advantage of those and watch free NBCSN for almost a month or longer if you use different email addresses. Let’s look at the free trials available.
- Sling TV – Sling TV offers a 3-day free trial. However, there is a way you can still get a 7-day trial with Sling.
- FuboTV – offers a 1-week free trial.
- Hulu Live TV – Offers a 1-week free trial
- YouTube TV – offers a 1-week free trial
As long as you cancel before the free trial expires, you won’t be charged. You can cycle the free trials to get nearly a month of NBCSN free. If you get creative with email addresses and payment methods, you could watch free NBCSN even longer. Doing this would also let you test out the various live TV streaming services to see which one you like the best.
Watch NBCSN Live on Roku
To watch NBCSN on Roku, follow these instructions.
- Subscribe to a streaming service that carries NBCSN (Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, or Hulu Live TV)
- On your Roku Menu, navigate to “Search” and press “OK” on your remote
- Enter the name of the streaming service you subscribe to in the search bar
- Select the streaming service and press “OK.”
- Select “Add Channel” press “OK” on your remote. If the channel is already installed, “Go To Channel” will be an option.
- The App is now installed on your Roku. Open the app, and log in with the credentials you used to subscribe to the service. NBCSN will be a channel available through the apps live TV guide.
Watch NBCSN Live on Fire TV
To watch NBCSN on Fire TV, follow these instructions.
- Subscribe to a streaming service that carries NBCSN (Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, or Hulu Live TV)
- On your Fire TV Home screen, click on the search icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.
- Enter the name of the streaming service you subscribe to in the search bar
- Select the streaming service and press “OK.”
- Select “Download,” and the channel will install
- The App is now installed on your Fire TV. Open the app, and log in with the credentials you used to subscribe to the service. NBCSN will be a channel available through the apps live TV guide.
Watch NBCSN Live on Apple TV
To watch NBCSN on Apple TV, follow these instructions.
- Subscribe to a streaming service that carries NBCSN (Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, or Hulu Live TV)
- Scroll right to the search icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
- Enter the name of the streaming service you subscribe to in the search bar
- Select the streaming service click the cloud icon, and the channel will install
- The App is now installed on your Apple TV. Open the app, and log in with the credentials you used to subscribe to the service. NBCSN will be a channel available through the apps live TV guide.
NBCSN Through The NBC Sports App
While you can watch NBCSN through the streaming service apps covered in this article, you can also watch through the NBC Sports App. (NBCSN is owned by NBC) The instructions below work for watching NBCSN on Roku, but other streaming devices will require similar steps
- Go to the channel store or app store on your device. On Roku, it’s called the “Channel Store.”
- Search for the NBC Sports app
- Add the NBC Sports app to your device and then open it.
- Go to “Browse” on the menu to the left of the screen. Under “All Networks,” navigate to “NBCSN” and press the OK button on your remote.
- NBCSN gives you a free 10-minute preview after which, your Roku device will show you an activation code.
- Using a computer or mobile web browser, you go to the https://www.nbcsports.com/activate.
- You will then be asked for a TV provider and a username/password. If you subscribe to Hulu, select “Hulu,” then enter your login and password for Hulu.
- Once you sign-in, your TV screen will refresh after a minute or so. You should now have access to all the live and on-demand content NBCSN provides.
