For fans of alternate genres like anime, it used to be hard to acquire and you often had to rely on specialized services. While the genre is now more mainstream and has plenty of content on big streamers like Netflix, there is still some value in going to the source for quantity and variety. Enter the service HIDIVE.
HIDIVE is a new(ish) anime streaming service that was purchased earlier this year by AMC Networks. The direct-to-consumer subscription service offers access to over 500 anime series, movies, and OVAs, as well as simulcasts, dubs, exclusives, and even live-action titles.

In addition, there is a release schedule calendar, allowing fans to see when new titles will be added to the service.
