Where to Watch The Premise

The Premise is an original series for FX on Hulu from creator B.J. Novak (The Office). This ambitious new anthology series, which debuts on Thursday, September 16, is a comedy/drama inspired by the very of-the-moment issues of modern life. Similar to Black Mirror, each episode has a uniquely off-kilter premise or plot, largely linked to technology and contemporary themes, and is an insular, tightly written story. With dramatic, unexpected performances from an extensive list of stars, including Ben Platt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Daniel Dae Kim, Lola Kirke, Soko, Jermaine Fowler, Ayo Edebiri, Kaitlyn Dever, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ed Asner, George Wallace, and Beau Bridges, it is bound to be entertaining.

Because The Premise is on Hulu’s streaming library, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on cable TV or even a live streaming service to watch The Premise. You can stream new episodes every Wednesday starting September 16.

Best Place to Watch The Premise

hulu

Hulu’s streaming library is the best streaming service for watching new episodes of The Premise every Monday. Once new episodes are released on Hulu, you can watch them any time you like on-demand. The price for Hulu streaming library starts at only $7.99 per month after a 30-day free trial. That’s considerably cheaper than the Hulu + Live TV service, which starts at $69.99.

Hulu is supported on Roku, Fire TV Devices, Apple TV, Chromecast, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and more. Once you sign up for Hulu, download the app to your supported device and log in using your credentials. If you are using a streaming device like Roku or Fire TV, you can start the app on your streaming device and use the option to log in using your mobile device. Your streaming device will provide you a code you can enter on your phone to log into your streaming device. I find this easier than trying to enter my user name and password on my Roku remote.

Below are the various packages Hulu offers that will allow you to watch every episode of The Premise

  • Hulu with commercials ($7.99 per month): This is the least expensive plan Hulu offers. This The Premise every Monday and whenever you like on-demand. This package also provides access to the entire Hulu library; the on-demand Hulu feature providing various TV shows on network TV, cable, and all the Hulu Originals. There are commercials throughout the shows. This plan also allows subscribers to receive 1-year of Hulu for the price of 10 months ($59.99) by switching to annual billing.
  • Hulu – commercial-free ($14.99 per month): For another $6 per month, you get Hulu on-demand without commercials. (Due to network arrangements, Grey’s Anatomy, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and How To Get Away With Murder will always have commercials)

Hulu is supported on Roku, Fire TV Devices, Apple TV, Chromecast, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and more. See our review of Hulu for more details and information on this streaming service.
