Once more R.L. Stine’s world of horror for tweens returns to television in a new Goosebumps series, premiering just in time for Halloween on Disney+ and Hulu.
In the mid-1990s, Stine’s books were everywhere, offering scares and chills in a series of books involving the paranormal, supernatural, and occult. The hit Scholastic books eventually spawned numerous spin-off book series, television shows, video games, comics, and feature films.
About the New Goosebumps Series
Now, Goosebumps is back, following a group of five high school students as they investigate the mysterious death of teen Harold Biddle nearly three decades earlier. Their twisted journey will unearth secrets from their parents’ past and take them down an unexpectedly dark path.
The series stars Justin Long and Rachael Harris, alongside teens Zack Morris, Isa Briones, Miles McKenna, Ana Yi Puig, and Will Price.
As a unique part of the Halloween lineups across the Disney family, the series will drop on both Disney+ and Hulu with the first five episodes as part of their “Hallowstream” and “Huluween” celebrations, respectively, then air weekly on each service. In addition, the first two episodes are slated as part of the Friday, October 13, lineup on Freeform for its “31 Nights of Halloween.”
