About Flora and Son
From director John Carney (Once, Sing Street) comes another heartwarming Irish drama about love, family, and the power of music. Flora (Eve Hewson) is a struggling young single mother trying to connect with her rebellious teenage son Max (Orén Kinlan).
When Flora rescues a guitar from a dumpster to try and find Max a hobby, she ends up being the one to use the beat-up instrument, taking online lessons from a washed-up LA musician (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). As Flora and Max bond over music, it might just turn out to be the salvation of their relationship. The film also stars Jack Reynor.
