Animated image of an old man and wooden boy

There must be something in the air with everyone revisiting the tale of the little wooden boy. It’s been barely three months since Disney released its live-action Pinocchio, and right on its heels is a new and fascinating stop-motion animated musical of the tale, directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, which premieres on Friday, December 9, on Netflix. This newest version of the magical story of a wooden puppet brought to life by his father’s wish looks utterly enchanting and has received critical claim since its theatrical release. Read on to learn how to watch Pinocchio.
