The cult Off-Broadway and West End hit, Heathers: The Musical, has been filmed for streaming and comes exclusively to the Roku Channel on Friday, September 16. Based on the dark cult comedy 1988 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the stage musical brings to life the angst of high school life, uber popularity, and some unexpectedly deadly consequences. Veronica Sawyer is a high school nobody when she is unexpectedly accepted by the stunning, popular, and cruel trio of Heathers. But when teen rebel JD shows up, he opens her eyes to everyone’s vulnerability…and murder.
The show was filmed live during the London West End production and features a stellar cast including Ailsa Davidson, Simon Gordon, Maddison Firth, Vivan Panka, Teleri Hughs, and more. Read on for how to watch Heathers: The Musical without cable.
