
The new horror film Mr. Harrigan’s Phone premieres on Wednesday, October 5, on Netflix. Based on the novella by Stephen King, the film follows the chilling turn of events when lonely and bullied teen, Craig (Jaeden Martell), befriends the elderly billionaire John Harrigan (Donald Sutherland). Craig gives Mr. Harrigan a mobile phone, but when Harrigan dies, Craig begins receiving calls from the deceased man. Shortly after, dark events connected to Craig’s secret pains and desires begin to occur. Conceived as a supernatural coming-of-age story, the movie is written and directed by John Lee Hancock and co-stars Joe Tippett, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Cyrus Arnold.
