The fantastically weird and obsessively popular science fiction thriller Stranger Things returns with season 4 on Friday, May 27, only on Netflix. The series, set in the early 1980s, follows a group of kids and teens whose small rural town of Hawkins, Indiana, is the site of secret paranormal and supernatural experiments, including on human test subjects. However, these experiments created a portal to the “Upside Down,” a dangerous alternate dimension having disastrous effects on the residents of Hawkins.
