The Andy Warhol Diaries, an intimate documentary series looking at the famed artist’s life, comes to Netflix on Wednesday, March 9. In 1968, artist and creator Andy Warhol was shot and sustained life-threatening injuries that, while he recovered, would impact the rest of his life. After the shooting, Warhol began documenting his life and feelings in his diaries, published posthumously. Executive producer Ryan Murphy and director Andrew Rossi have turned these diaries into an expansive, six-part docuseries that chronicles Warhol’s life and impact on art and culture from the intimate perspective of the artist himself.
