The Golden Bachelor has been a hit with audiences, repeatedly topping the Thursday night ratings charts. The show airs Thursday nights at 8:00 PM ET on ABC, and you can watch it for free over the air with a TV antenna. However, if you don’t want to fuss with a TV antenna, you can watch it stream The Golden Bachelor using the following services. Each service works on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, iOS, Android, and other devices.

The Cheapest Way To Stream The Golden Bachelor

Hulu’s Streaming Library – I’m not talking about Hulu Live TV, but the much cheaper Hulu demand service that starts at just $7.99 per month with a 30-day free trial. However, you have to wait a day for the latest episodes of The Golden Bachelor to show up on the service. You won’t be able to watch the show when it airs on Thursday Night, but the new episode is usually available by the time I wake up on Friday Morning.

I wanted to mention this option first because it’s so affordable, and it has every past episode of The Golden Bachelor, so if you are just starting the show, Hulu’s streaming library is the best choice to stream the show. Hulu also has a Hulu + Live TV plan that carries ABC live, but that service starts at $76.99. You can check out my review of Hulu for more details on the service.

The Cheapest Way To Stream The Golden Bachelor Live

Sling TV – Sling TV’s Blue plan has live ABC, but only in about 20% of the country. It’s the most affordable way to stream The Golden Bachelorwhen, which airs Thursday nights at 8:00 PM ET, starting at $40 per month with your first month 50% off. However, to get ABC,, you have to live in one of the following TV markets: Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose. Furthermore, Sling charges Sling Blue an additional $5 monthly broadcast fee if you live in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, or San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose areas. You can subscribe to the service on Sling’s Website. See my review of Sling for more information on the service.

Other Ways To Stream The Golden Bachelor Live

DIRECTV STREAM, YouTube TV, and FuboTV all provide ABC, so you can watch The Golden Bachelor when it airs on Thursday nights. All offer a free trial. However, they all cost a little over $70 per month. If you don’t want to use Hulu or Sling, I put together a comparison of live-streaming services to help you decide. Below is a little bit about the cost of each service and where to find a little more information specific to each streaming service.

DIRECTV STREAM – This streaming service carries ABC in its “Entertainment plan” and costs $79.99 per month after a 5-day free trial. There is no contract, and you can cancel at any time. For more information, check out our review of DIRECTV STREAM.

YouTubeTV – YouTube TV offers live ABC in its channel lineup. The service costs $72.99 per month after a 1-week free trial, but they are currently running a special to give you $20 off your first three months. Be sure to check out our review of YouTube TV for more information.

Fubo – Fubo includes ABC in its Pro plan and costs $74.99 per month after a 1-week free trial. For more information on FuboTV features, please see our Fubo TV review.

About The Golden Bachelor

The Golden Bachelor takes us into the “golden years” for the first time as 71-year-old Gerry Turner looks for a new lease on love. Widowed in 2017 after 43 years of marriage, Gerry is ready to date again. All 22 contestants hoping to click with him are between ages 60 – 75, bringing their wealth of life experience to the match-making process.

The long-established Bachelor franchise puts one sexy single on location with a bevy of want-to-be partners. Over time, they bond, party, and go on romantic dates, hoping to find someone to give the final rose and ring to by the end of the process after weekly eliminations.

This is the first time that the hit unscripted series has dabbled in love with people over the average age of 35, so we’ll see if audiences are along for the ride and if the show attracts new interest from the senior set.
