Streaming Services with Olympic Channel

As with most content on cable today, there are alternate ways to enjoy the channels and shows you want without forking over mountains of cash to a cable TV provider. Here are a few of the cable subscription-free ways you can stream Olympic Channel online.

Watch Olympic Channel on Hulu

Olympic Channel on Sling TV

Olympic Channel is one of the many channels on Sling TV. Olympic Channel is not part of Sling’s “orange” package but is available in its “blue” package for $35 per month if you get the $11 per month “Sports Extra” add-on channel pack. Sling TV provides a live stream of the Olympic Channel, so you can watch what would be airing on Olympic Channel just as if you had cable. Furthermore, Sling TV’s cloud DVR provides a method of recording your favorite Olympic Channel shows.

Sling TV is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and more, so it’s not a problem to enjoy Olympic Channel on a TV, tablet, computer, or other smart devices. Olympic Channel on FuboTV

FuboTV

FuboTV is another streaming service that will give you access to Olympic Channel in its “Pro Plan,” which costs $69.99 per month starting August 1st. You can try it for 7 days for free. There is no contract when signing up for fuboTV, letting you cancel your subscription at any time.

YouTubeTV also offers Olympic Channel streaming live online and limitless storage space for recording your shows. Your library of recorded shows can be streamed anywhere. Olympic Channel is included in the base package for $64.99 a month.

Olympic Channel on DIRECTV STREAM

Olympic Channel is one of the channels available on AT&T’s streaming service DIRECTV STREAM. However, it’s in their more expensive “Ultimate” plan for a price of $104.99 per month. All DIRECTV STREAM plans provide the following:

  • watch up to 20 streams simultaneously per subscription 
  • a cloud-based DVR
  • channels like Olympic Channel, AMC, HGTV, Discovery, and more
  • supported on AppleTV, Android TV, Roku, Amazon FireTV, and more

Watch Olympic Channel for Free

Four of the streaming services that carry Olympic Channel offer a free trial. You can take advantage of those and watch free Olympic Channel for almost a month or longer if you use different email addresses. Let’s look at the free trials available.

  • FuboTV – offers a 1-week free trial.
  • Hulu Live TV – Offers a 1-week free trial
  • YouTube TV –  offers a 1-week free trial

As long as you cancel before the free trial expires, you won’t be charged. You can cycle the free trials to get nearly a month of Olympic Channel free. If you get creative with email addresses and payment methods, you could watch free Olympic Channel even longer. To watch Olympic Channel on Roku, follow these instructions.

  3. Enter the name of the streaming service you subscribe to in the search bar

  5. Select “Add Channel” press “OK” on your remote. If the channel is already installed, “Go To Channel” will be an option.
  6. The App is now installed on your Roku. Open the app, and log in with the credentials you used to subscribe to the service. Olympic Channel will be a channel available through the apps live TV guide.

To watch Olympic Channel on Fire TV, follow these instructions.

  1. Subscribe to a streaming service that carries Olympic Channel (Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, or Hulu Live TV)
  2. On your Fire TV Home screen, click on the search icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.
  3. Enter the name of the streaming service you subscribe to in the search bar
  4. Select the streaming service and press “OK.”
  5. Select “Download,” and the channel will install
  6. The App is now installed on your Fire TV. Open the app, and log in with the credentials you used to subscribe to the service. Olympic Channel will be a channel available through the apps live TV guide.

Watch Olympic Channel Live on Apple TV

To watch Olympic Channel on Apple TV, follow these instructions.

  1. Subscribe to a streaming service that carries Olympic Channel (Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, or Hulu Live TV)
  2. Scroll right to the search icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
  3. Enter the name of the streaming service you subscribe to in the search bar
  4. Select the streaming service click the cloud icon, and the channel will install
  5. The App is now installed on your Apple TV. Open the app, and log in with the credentials you used to subscribe to the service. Olympic Channel will be a channel available through the apps live TV guide.

Is there a Olympic Channel App

You can watch Olympic Channel using the app for the streaming service you have a subscription to. Those apps download to your supported streaming device, and Olympic Channel is available through the guide in the app. However, some readers were curious about watch a Olympic Channel-specific app.

The Olympic Channels is owned by NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Several NBCUniversal owned TV networks are now available through the NBC app, including Olympic Channel. Below are the steps to install the NBC app and watch Olympic Channel on Roku. However, the steps for other streaming devices like Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, and Apple TV are similar.

  1. Go to the channel store on your device.
  2. Search for “NBC” You will see the “NBC app.” Add it to your device. 
  3. Open the app. Scroll over to “Network” then select Olympic Channel
  4. You will then see an activation code and a URL (NBC.com/activate.)
  5. Using a web browser, go to nbc.com/activate and enter the activation code.
  6. Still, on your browser, choose the streaming service you subscribe to for Olympic Channel. I use Hulu, but Hulu, Sling TV, and YouTube TV are acceptable. Sign in using your login credentials to that service.
  7. Your TV screen will refresh, and you will see NBC and other NBC networks available through the app.
