The Winter King is a new original series based on Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord Chronicles series, a revisionist take on the Arthurian Legends. It is set in the fifth century, in the time before Britain was united, and follows Arthur Pendragon (Iain De Caestecker) from an outcast to the warrior and king of legend. The cast also includes Eddie Marsan as High King Uther, Ellie James as Nimue, Nathaniel Martello-White as Merlin, Stuart Campbell as Derfel, Daniel Ings as Owain, Valene Kane as Morgan, Jordan Alexandra as Guinevere, and Simon Merrells as Gundleus.
