The new series Wednesday arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, November 23. The latest iteration of Tim Burton’s Addams Family franchise, this version sees young Wednesday Addams attempting to adjust to a new school, mastering her emerging psychic abilities, and solve a 25-year-old mystery. Nevermore Academy is where Wednesday’s (Jenna Ortega) eternally devoted parents Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán) met 25 years ago. They hope the gothic and slightly offbeat school will be the right fit for their similarly attuned daughter, who quickly finds herself embroiled in the same mystery they were at their time there, and attempting to thwart a killing spree to boot. This just might be the place for our mysterious and kooky teen after all. The cast also stars Gwendoline Christie as the school’s headmistress and the previously iconic Wednesday herself, Christina Ricci, as new character, Nevermore alum Marilyn Thornhill.
