You People, the latest comedy featuring Jonah Hill, is now available on Netflix. It was released in theatres on January 20, and arrived early on Netflix (originally slated to drop on January 27). The film features Hill as Ezra Cohen, a Jewish man on the hunt for love, who in a chance encounter, falls for Amira Mohammed, a Black woman, played by Lauren London. Their romance blossoms, and as they get serious, they are forced to reconcile their very different family cultures and societal expectations to get to the alter. The film co-stars Eddie Murphy and Nia Long as Amira’s parents, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny as Ezra’s, as well as an ensemble cast including Sam Jay, Molly Gordon, Mike Epps, Deon Cole, and Rhea Perlman.
