Joel McHale hosts Crime Scene Kitchen, a cooking competition show in which bakers must track down what mouthwatering dessert has disappeared from a recently used kitchen, based on the clues at hand, and then recreate the recipe from the “evidence” in order to win big.
Teams of two will scour the kitchen for information on what the dessert was baked at the scene fo the crime, looking for ingredients on hand and clues left behind to help them figure it out. then, they put their baking skills to use to duplicate the recipe of the missing sweet. Their goal is to impress celebrity judges chef Curtis Stone and cake artist Yolanda Gampp with their problem-solving skills and technical know-how in the hopes of snagging the final $100,000 prize.
While the series is currently on hiatus following season two, the first two seasons are still viewable on demand with Hulu’s streaming library and Tubi.
