The FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers are back in an all-new series spin-off of Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Evolution, which premieres with the first two episodes on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, on Paramount+. Building on the original series and franchise, which ran from 2005-2020, Criminal Minds: Evolution brings back much of the original cast in one of their most-high stakes cases: an UnSub who used the pandemic to build a network of fellow serial killers and now that society is opening up, they have gone operational. Following both the serialized element and longer story-arc structure, the show will follow the team as they hunt down one killer at a time, and close off the network. Original cast members Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez, and Paget Brewster return, with Zach Gilford joining the cast as part of the season-long arc.
