The In Between, a new supernatural romance, premieres on Friday, February 11, on Paramount+. The film, based on the YA novel of the same name, is part of an ever-popular trend of stories of young love and traumatic loss, frequently with supernatural communication with the afterlife. In The In Between, Joey King (The Act) stars as Tessa, a lonely foster teen who doesn’t feel she deserves love until she meets the romantic Skylar (Kyle Allen, West Side Story). Their romance is cut short by a tragic accident, after which Tessa begins getting signs Skylar is trying to communicate with her from the other side.
