The limited series The Light in the Hall premieres on Thursday, September 15, on Sundance Now. The psychological thriller tells the story of a small town forced to relive the past as a young girl’s convicted killer is released on parole. Eighteen years after his confession and convocation, Joe Pritchard (Iwan Rheon) is about to be released from prison where he served time for the death of 15-year-old Ela Roberts, whose body was never found. The community of Llanemlyn is shocked by the news, particularly Ela’s mother Sharon (Joanna Scanlan), who is horrified–but also desperate to get answers to the many questions surrounding her daughter’s disappearance. Meanwhile, former resident Cat Donato (Alexandra Roach), now a journalist, decides to return back to her hometown to investigate Ela’s final days to try to uncover the truth.
The dark British limited series was filmed in English and Welsh and was initially released in the U.K. under the Welsh title Y Golau. Read on to learn how to stream The Light in the Hall without cable.
