A new series adaptation of the novel The Time Traveller’s Wife premieres on Sunday, May 15, at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO. Clare (Rose Leslie) and Henry (Theo James) are a couple madly in love, but their relationship is continually interupted by time travel. Henry repeatedly jumps through time, in random order, often revisiting traumas of his youth, but always returning to Clare, just at different points in time. She, meanwhile, continues life on a steady path forward, struggling with his regular absense and sudden returns. Based on Audrey Niffenegger’s best-selling novel, the story is a heart-wrenching romance wrapped in a science fiction premise. Read on to learn how to watch The Time Traveller’s Wife without cable.
