David Simon is back on HBO with a new Baltimore-centered crime drama, We Own This City, premiering on Monday, April 25, at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO. The creator of The Wire, Simon returns with a six-part miniseries adaptation of Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton’s book, We Own This City: A True Story of Crime, Cops and Corruption. The gritty series follows the rise and fall of the Gun Trace Task Force of the Baltimore Police department, focusing on internal corruption and the impact on the city of mass arrests and drug prohibitions over actual police work. Like The Wire and Homicide, the series is shot and produced in Baltimore City, with Simon as creator and writer. Read on to learn how to watch We Own This City without cable.
