Grown-ish returns for season 5 on Wednesday, July 20, at 10:00 p.m. ET on FreeForm. The spin-off series from ABC’s Black-ish, Grown-ish follows the family’s eldest daughter from that series, Zoey (Yara Shahidi) as she heads off on her adult life, going off to college and trying to find her feet after leaving the nest.
The new season sees the return of original stars Shahid, Trevor Jackson (Aaron), and Diggy Simmons (Doug), plus the introduction of a crop of new students and a slightly revamped storyline. This is due to six original cast members, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Chloe Bailey, Luka Sabbat, Halle Bailey, and Jordan Buhat, not returning. Grown-ish may air on FreeForm, but you don’t need cable to watch. Read on to learn how to watch Grown-ish without needing a subscription to cable TV.
