Nvidia Shield Deal for Your Smart Home
This week Nvidia launched a new deal that combines their Nvidia Sheild with a SmartThings Link. This will allow your Nvidia Sheild to not only act as a streaming device and game console, but also a hub for your smart home. FaceBook Clamps Down on Pirating
Last year Facebook announced they were going to disallow devices that encourage pirating of content online. The just recently updated the language in their rules to disallow the advertising of such devices. They explicitly called out devices that have KODI installed on them. This would include devices like a jailbroken Amazon Fire TV stick. This is a yet another bog push toward cracking down on the streaming of unlicensed video content.
Jeopardy comes to Hulu
One of the largest syndicated game shows in the world is now available on Hulu. Hulu will continually update 60 episodes to provide new content to Jeopardy fans. Episodes will include classic fan favorites, the Tournament of Champions, the College Championship, Kids week and more. A Boxing and MMA Streaming Service Launches Soon
DAZN is a streaming service that provides events from Matchroom Boxing, and Bellator MMA matches. The service will also includes World Boxing Super Series. The service has been available in Canada but will be launching in the U.S. on September 10th. The service will cost $9.99 per month with no contract.
