Insecure is a highly successful comedy/drama created by series star and comedian Issa Rae and writer/comic Larry Wilmore. It deals with the awkward experiences of a contemporary African-American woman, focusing mainly on the friendship between Issa (Rae) and her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji), modern women dealing with their real-life flaws and uncomfortable everyday challenges.
