As promised, a second true-crime miniseries has arrived chronicling the violent murder of Betty Gore by her friend and neighbor Candy Montgomery. Last year, Hulu brought us Candy, and now, Max’s long-promised series Love & Death puts Elizabeth Olsen in the role of the murderous housewife. Written by David E. Kelley and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter, Love & Death once again tells the true story of how two churchgoing couples in a small Texas town became the center of a scandal of sex and murder. When Candy Montgomery (Olsen) has an extramarital affair with her neighbor Allan Gore (Jesse Plemons), it ends up being his wife Betty (Lily Rabe) who pays the violent price. The series also stars Krysten Ritter, Patrick Fugit, Tom Pelphrey, Elizabeth Marvel, and Keri Gilchrist. Read on for how to watch Love & Death on HBO.
