Producers Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams come together for a TV series adaptation of Matt Ruff’s novel Lovecraft Country. This show is an allegorical horror tale told against the backdrop of a racially segregated 1950s America. The story follows three Black Americans on a road trip to find a missing person where they not only have to deal with the racism of the 1950’s but supernatural forces straight out of an H.P. Lovecraft story.
