Prom season is almost upon us, and just in time, Disney is launching its new teen rom-com, Prom Pact. The predictably adorable teen film focuses on best friends and overachievers Mandy Yang (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) and Ben Plunkett (Milo Manheim), who make a pact to enjoy their last few months of high school doing all the social things they have been too busy to engage in, including prom. Along the way, Mandy, desperate to get into her first choice of Harvard, decides to befriend uber-popular jock Graham Lansing (Blake Draper), whose dad could write her a golden ticket letter of recommendation. When she ends up tutoring Graham, the two form a surprising connection. The relatively well-trod story of finding out the truth behind the stereotype of the jock and the nerd is clearly at play, but it still has some winning charm despite predictability. This article will explain how to watch Prom Pact, even if you don’t have cable.
